So, the Accountancy Age debate on tax avoidance draws to a close. The result is looking tight, with Stephen Herring maintaining the slender lead over Richard Murphy that he's had since day 2.
In all honesty, Ritchie deserves to be losing this debate, and by a much wider margin. His last, pathetic roll of the dice is to accuse Herring of an ad hominem attack. Ritchie is the only person who thinks that it was an ad hominem. Worst of all, for a campaigner who claims tax avoidance is widespread, Ritchie failed to mention a single specific case of what he considers to be avoidance.
So make sure you cast your vote.
